"Short history of the Bulgarian folklore choreography" |
 | Bisser Grigorov wrote this so long expected and necessary book, which will unite the generations and will live for the history full data for the Bulgarian folklore choreography. His whole life is devoted to dance – performer, author, choreographer, director, lecturer in the National Sports Academy. He is qualified and well educated enough to write analytically, without personal emotions, presenting all the remarkable people in the field and their success in the dance art and science. The present book is valuable school aid for choreography students in the Universities in the country. The concrete facts could be useful for the following subjects: “Theory of the Bulgarian folk choreography”, “History of the dance”, “Cultivation of Bulgarian folk dances”. On the other hand this is an interesting story of the most popular art – the Bulgarian folk dances, which has flourished during the years on the base of deep investigation, systematization and popularization.
